Trey Anastasio Band & Goose at Mohegan Sun Arena

Trey Anastacio is a guitarist and singer-songwriter who co-founded the band Phish in 1983. He is credited with composing 152 songs for the band. Eleven studio albums have been released throughout his solo career, and he has gotten many Grammy nods for his solo and Phish-related work. Anastacio is also involved in side projects, like his unidentified band, commonly referred to as the Trey Anastasio Band or TAB for short. Beginning as a trio, further members are continually added. They are now performing blues, jazz, and soul music with their current lineup of eight members.

Once in a while, Trey collaborates with other artists and jam bands, such as Herbie Hancock, Dave Matthews, Carlos Santana, and Toots & the Maytals, among many others. This year, Trey Anastacio is set to have a series of concerts with the Connecticut-based jam band Goose. The band gained popularity in 2019 when they performed at The Peach Music Festival. The band was formed earlier in 2014 by singer/guitarist Rick Mitarotonda, drummer Ben Atkind, and bassist Trevor Weekz. They previously played for the band "Vasudo," and in 2017, the band welcomed Peter Anspach, a friend of the original members who plays keyboards and guitar and is also a singer.
