Old Dominion has been making waves across the country music scene with their platinum-selling hits. The country rock outfit has won awards left and right for the past several years. In 2020, the band attained several impressive accomplishments, including winning Vocal Group of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards. Meanwhile, their single “One Man Band” won a CMT Music Award and an Academy of Country Music Award. The song was spawned from Old Dominion’s self-titled studio effort. Released in 2019, the album topped Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200.
Old Dominion has a slew of notable albums under their helm. The band dropped their debut album, Meat, and Candy, in 2015. The breakout record peaked at number 3 on the Top Country Albums and number 16 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned two double-platinum-selling singles, “Break Up with Him” and “Snapback.” The following year, the band released another follow-up single, “Song For Another Time,” which topped the Country Airplay and peaked at number 4 on the Hot Country Songs chart. The band’s exemplary work with Meat and Candy earned them several accolades, including winning New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards and Breakthrough Group/Duo of the Year at the American Country Countdown Awards. In 2017, the band achieved their first number 1 upon releasing their sophomore effort, Happy Endings. The album topped Billboard’s Country Albums and peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200. The album featured three platinum-selling, chart-topping hits, such as “No Such Thing As,” “Broken Heart,” “Written in the Sand,” and “Hotel Key.”
This 2023, Old Dominion will continue to promote their latest album, Time, Tequila & Therapy, which spawned critically-acclaimed singles “No Hard Feelings” and “I Was On a Boat That Day.” Earlier this year, the band released their new single, “Memory Lane.”
