Internationally acclaimed, Grammy Award winning American Idol Kelly Clarkson recently announced an extensive two and a half month stint across North America this summer, much to the delight of fans! The Texan superstar wrote on her Facebook page:

"BIG NEWS! I’m going on tour this summer & bringing Pentatonix with me!"

Also joining her will be singer songwriter Eric Hutchinson, and you can catch them all at Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday 23rd July!

Kelly Clarkson's big break came upon winning the first series of American Idol and subsequently a recording contract with RCA. Her debut single "A Moment Like This" launched to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record for the biggest jump to number one in the chart's history. Her first studio album Thankful was certified twice platinum by the RCA, and her follow up record, Breakaway, went 6× platinum and sold over 15 million copies worldwide. It also led to two Grammy Awards, including one for her hit single "Since U Been Gone." Clarkson's fifth album, Stronger, also won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album, making her the first and only artist to win the accolade twice. The prolific singer, who has accumulated ninety-one number ones on the Billboard charts and eleven international number one singles, is set to release her new album Piece by Piece early this year.
