The Emmy award-winning American professional Latin and ballroom dancer, choreographer, actor and singer — DEREK HOUGH just announced his first-ever holiday tour. After a ‘Year of Miracles’ with his wife Hayley Erbert, the man is ready to dazzle everyone’s holiday spirits through dance. Kicking off the DANCE FOR THE HOLIDAYS TOUR this November, Hough is visiting 38 cities, bringing along his cast of phenomenal dancers who’ll make up an enchanting festive celebration.

As jingle bells, sleigh bells, and holiday carols fill the streets, Hough is set to take over theaters and entertainment venues with his newest holiday extravaganza. Known for his spectacular dance productions, this tour will be supervised by his Emmy Award-winning creative team — Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo, known for their work as NappyTabs. They’ll be co-creating, directing, and taking charge of choreography for the tour.

Heading to Montville, Connecticut for a dazzling Christmas celebration, Derek Hough’s Dance For The Holidays is painting the stage RED & GOLD at the MOHEGAN SUN ARENA on November 3rd. Packing a house of 10,000 seats, the large venue is the perfect match for the man’s larger-than-life dance productions. Known for his spectacular set designs and all-out choreography, the arena will surely be filled by the audience’s cheer and applause.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE, Hough shares that “The holidays are a lot of fun, but they're also quite an emotional time.” Following a “year of miracles” with his wife Hayley Erbert who underwent an emergency surgery, the man feels extra grateful for all the blessings with how things turned out. “I wanted to do something in the holiday spirit,” he said about his upcoming shows. “The holidays are a lot of fun, but they're also quite an emotional time and can be quite difficult. I think that whenever you're giving or serving in some kind of way, you're living at your best.”
