The Connecticut Sun is a professional basketball team owned by the Mohegan Indian Tribe. The team was founded in Orlando, Florida but now based in Uncasville, Connecticut playing in the WNBA’s Eastern Conference. The Sun had a merit of being the only WNBA franchise (besides the defunct Miami Sol) to finish each season with less than 20 losses. The team has had a parade of excellent line-up including the late 7-foot-2 Margo Dydek, Indiana native Katie Douglas, veteran sharpshooter Kara Lawson, University of Connecticut icons Asjha Jones and Nykesha Sales, 2008 MVP runner-up point guard Lindsay Whalen and 2012 MVP recipient Tina Charles.

Also playing for the Eastern Conference, Indiana Fever is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The team is the counterpart of NBA’s Indiana Pacers. Fever has been pleased to show off their excellent spectacle of players such as  the Tennessee standout Tamika Catchings, hometown favorite Katie Douglas, and Australian defensive specialist Tully Bevilaqua.
