Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun Arena

The Mohegan Sun Arena enjoys the honor of being ranked third among US entertainment destinations and fourth overall in the world. The Mohegan Sun Arena has a seating capacity of easily 10,000 people. In addition to hosting important sporting events all year long, it serves as a venue for some of the best concerts and performances.

This 2023, the Mohegan Sun Arena will host the much-awaited Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament for a round of plays that will surely keep you on the edge of your seats as the men’s college division fights their way to the coveted title of 2023 Champions. This is an NCAA-exempt tournament sponsored by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The MAAC consists of 10 member institutions: Canisius College, Fairfield University, Iona College, Loyola University Maryland, Manhattan College, Marist College, Niagara University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s College, and Siena College.

Several men’s basketball teams have been selected this year to participate in the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament, namely the Rhode Island Rams from the University of Rhode Island, the Northwestern Wildcats from Northwestern University, Mississippi State Bulldogs from Mississippi State University, and the Washington State Cougars from Washington State University.

The tournament is a two-day event held on the 18th and 19th of November, 2023. The first day will feature the opening rounds of the tournament, whereas the second day will feature the championship and runner-up game.
