In a conversation with PAPER Magazine, Tate shares how the past few months following the album's release were pretty chaotic and busy. "But you know, so exciting. Some of my biggest dreams ever. So it's been a very fun process," she said. Also known as an amazing dancer, her tour will definitely involve a splash of dance in the mix. " I feel like the songwriter part of me and the dancer are two different entities. It's very fun to be able to put them together and see what we can do creatively on this tour to showcase the more subtle moments and also the more pop dancing moments," she shared.

Looking back, she found her breakthrough in music when her April 2020 single "You Broke Me First" became viral. It was her first international hit, her first entry into the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also became the longest charting track released by a female artist in 2020, marking a reign of 38 weeks on the chart. Amidst global lockdowns at the time, her music provided an escape for emotions to flow.

"I think it's crazy when something so vulnerable and personal gets released into the world because it's out of your hands," she shared in an interview with Seventeen. "It belongs to the listeners now and that's really terrifying but exciting."

Now on her second album, she's set to shine brighter as an artist. She sure is pop's next big thing. Known for her dedication to put out honest and inspired music, she shares with Cosmopolitan how music is therapeutic for her. "What I search for when I listen to music is to find the words I don't know how to say. I just hope other people feel the same way with my music," she explained.

"I think my fans are louder than I could have ever expected," McRae told Seventeen about her first headlining tour. "I thought no one was gonna show up and they all showed up. It's been so wild, I think everyone's been having a blast on tour and it's been incredible."
