WWE Smackdown had it’s first broadcast in April 1999.  The show was made distinct and launched with its ‘OvalTron’ stage entrance set, until 2001, on its second anniversary, wrestlers Rhyno and Jericho destroyed part of the set.  ‘Inspired’ by that incident,  is the new set which consists of  a fist with glass panes that gives the effect of shattered glass.  Since its premiere airing, WWE SmackDown!  has been broadcast in over 162 arenas in several countries across the globe.
