Born as Armando Christian Pérez, hailing from Miami to Cuban parents. Pitbull credits Miami as a "melting pot" that shaped who he is all throughout his life. "It's a melting pot… growing up around so many cultures, it's always allowed me to think out of the box and try new sounds and try new things…" said Pitbull.

Perez drew his stage name from the dogs who "bite to lock… They're basically everything that I am. It's been a constant fight" Pitbull said. Pitbull bit the music scene in 2001, and hasn't let loose since then. From early mixtapes and a few tracks that sparked some buzz like "Oye" from 2 Fast 2 Furious, Pitbull started to gain more attention with the release of his debut album "M.I.A.M.I." in 2004 with its lead single "Culo".

Though three albums later, Pitbull found his big break with his global hit single "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" hitting #2 on the Hot 100, off of his 4th album "Pitbull Starring in Rebelution".

From then on, Pitbull released massive hits after hits featuring notable artists in a lot of his succeeding singles. He's worked with the likes of Ne-Yo, Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Kesha, Chris Brown, and many more.

From the Miami local, Mr. 305, Pitbull dominated the world, bagging in the name "Mr. Worldwide" with global hits including his first #1 "Give Me Everything", "Timber", "Feel This Moment", "International Love", "Don't Stop the Party", "Time of Our Lives", "No Lo Trates", and so much more.

As 2022 further rises, there's no stopping Pitbull from taking over after last year's successful tour as one of Billboard's Top Latin Tours of 2021.
