The California-based rock band Doobie Brothers took shape in 1969. The group currently includes the long-time vocalists and guitarists Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons, and another Doobie veteran multi-instrumentalist John McFee. After enduring the decades of changing musical preferences, they now sounded even better, they have sharpened their already formidable musicality with unsullied fusion of hard rock, country and blue eyed soul. The chain of platinum albums and hit singles, have proved that the band absolutely exemplified the rock and roll mainstream throughout the 70’s and remain as active as ever. They have sold 40 million albums during their career. Their fourth studio Album “What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits” was released in 1974, it spawned a number 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with the song “Black Water. They have released their latest studio album on 2010, the “World Gone Crazy” which debuted at number 39 on the Billboard top 200 albums chart. It includes the tracks “A Brighter Day”, “Chateau”, “Far From Home” and the remake of their 1971 debut single “Nobody”.
