Originally a gospel artist, recording under the her birth name of Katy Hudson, with a commercially unsuccessful first EP, Katy Perry made a drastic shift in lyrical content, style and direction for her second album, the pop rock record “One Of The Boys”. Her first single, “I Kissed A Girl,” was a huge worldwide smash hit, topping charts across the globe and remaining on the Billboard Hot 1000 for an incredible 7 weeks in a row!!
